My Fruitful Insight: The Upcoming of ELING with AR Tech (1)

I presented this concept while joining the Digital English Teaching Workshop at BINUS University (28/10/2019).

The idea of using technology in the classroom or just maybe being flipped classroom is we must provide explicit instruction to the students either they are at home or school. The technology can help us to explain the obscure concept that is difficult to visualize or comprehend it and should bring reality as easy as we can.

However, we cannot stand ground only on the devices we call computers or smartphones that we use commonly and regularly today since it can distract the learning process itself. That is why I propose in my mind to have a partnership like Microsoft company facilitating on making the device or tool which is designed exclusively to deliver the advanced of future language learning, which means by synchronizing augmented reality technology.

We can merge or recreate many useful and purposeful apps in the language learning into one place that is ELING Multi-Language Learning Platform. We adapt it to effortlessly and improve it, such as the system, mechanism, etc. to enable the platform in maximizing and facilitating the students’ learning.

I highlighted from this workshop several useful apps and sites must transform into the one particular platform called ELING. The apps and websites discussed those have been already notified, but what I have learned here that most attractive was the use of Netflix. I will be able to use the concept of Netflix on delivering the story on their screen to be embedded in my ELING animation videos.

What is very paramount for me, I do realize that the hardest part to make our online learning successfully is the features’ provision. We do not only think about how to apply multiple apps or sites but also very aware of arranging the procedures of this online learning mechanism.
